Sky have also confirmed that five other premier league games along with the Football League play-off finals will be screened before May 2010.
The Sky 3D channel will only initially only be available to pubs and clubs who have signed up for the service. The broadcaster has said that there are around 1000 pubs and clubs who have signed-up for the service so far. The 3D TV channel will be available to residential homes later on in the year through the Sky+HD channel.

This is good news for anybody thinking of purchasing a Samsung 3D TV, Sony 3D TV or LG 3D TV sets as these are all set for a UK release in the next few months.
Along with sport, the Sky channel will also broadcast films and documentaries in 3D.
